Quickfact: 12 ft high x 130 ft long trusses
Perched atop Vanderbilt University Medical Center, this cantilevered structure supports dual-landing pads for Lifeflight's angels of the sky. Suspended between the trusses are the crew quarters, Flightcomm and administrative offices. It is an engineering marvel and a landmark project for Wylie Steel Fabricators, Inc.
Gateway Medical Center

This 300,000 square foot acute care facility with 270 licensed beds opened in 2008 as a replacement for Clarksvile's aging facility and is our largest hospital project to date. We erected 3,100 tons in twenty-two weeks, successfully coordinating two crews and two cranes to create a huge schedule advantage for our client.
Healthpark Medical Center

Logistically challenging projects are our forte, and this 3-story vertical expansion is a prime example. Erected in 2003, this bed tower addition is one of many projects which showcase our attention to detail and dedication to our clients.
Heart Of Florida Regional Medical Center

Quickfact: 2-Story vertical expansion
Having spread outward during previous expansions, it was time for this hospital to go upward. We successfully added two framing levels, allowing the facility to increase its bed count to 194. Close coordination with our client allowed hospital operations to continue uninterrupted during the expansion process.
Deaconess Gateway Hospital

We are proud to be a part of Deaconess Health Systems' expansion of their Newburgh campus. This Special Moment Resisting Frame required careful fabrication and close tolerances to enable quick fit-up of each brace member. Of the 14,000 brace bolts less than 10 holes were misaligned and required field drilling. Quality fabrication at its best!
Brooksville Regional Medical Center

The Tampa-St. Pete suburb of Brooksville's newest healthcare facility is this 120 bed medical complex situated on 130 acres. We erected the steel in late 2004 as part of an astounding 12 month construction schedule. The facility opened on time and within budget, putting a feather in our cap for another successful healthcare project.
